Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. I became a yoga teacher because yoga carried me through the darkest times of my life. My classes are rooted in presence, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s journey. With a background supporting women as a doula, midwife assistant, and women’s circle facilitator, I bring a nurturing, grounded energy to the mat. Whether you're seeking strength, stillness, or connection, you're invited to come as you are.

For years, I walked beside women in their most powerful and vulnerable moments. That work taught me how sacred the body truly is.
I began practicing yoga the same year I became a mother—over 17 years ago. Since then, my practice has ebbed and flowed with every season of life. Sometimes, yoga was the only thing that helped me feel grounded (and honestly, sane).
After the birth of my last baby, I experienced pelvic floor dysfunction and stepped away from my practice out of fear. But with time, research, and patience, I found my way back—and was reminded just how much yoga supports my well-being. That experience inspired me to pursue my 85-hour prenatal yoga certification so I can better support women in their own practices.
Yoga met me when I needed it most. Now, I offer it back as a tool for healing, resilience, and reconnection—especially for women.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It’s an honor to be considered as your guide.
With love,
Heidi
What style of yoga do you teach?
I teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin (and soon, Prenatal) classes for all levels.
Are your classes beginner-friendly?
You're welcome to join any class, however, if you've never tried yoga before, please do mention it to me before class starts.
Check my schedule to see if there are any beginner series or classes currently being offered. I highly recommend joining beginner's classes to build a solid foundation going into your yoga practice!
Do I need to be flexible to start yoga?
Not at all.
My yoga classes are designed to meet you right where you're at. Yoga is for every body.
